Happy – Memorial

Our boy Happy is true to his name. This jovial and bouncy Bichon Frise enjoyed every minute of his life, despite the fact that he lost the use of his back legs. Unfortunately, neurological consults and physical therapy confirmed that his condition couldn’t be corrected. But Happy didn’t let it stop him! He ran races in his “doggie wheels,” and make his way around the Sanctuary on his own.

Our Dear Happy crossed over the bridge today. His most recent blood work indicated that his liver tumor had started to bleed internally. We did not want him to suffer so Emily brought her beloved Forever Foster to the Sanctuary and John and Lori fed him the Happy Meal that Em got for him and Peaceful Passage helped our boy to slip away peacefully. Hearts are broken here today!! and most especially heartbroken is his BELOVED Emily!!! January 18, 2022
